Royal Enfield is testing its new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle on a much larger scale. Many spy photos and videos of this new model have been revealed, revealing many interesting details of the new bike. According to the report, the latest spy photos of the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 make it clear that it has a digital display for information on the fuel gauge, odometer and tipper navigation pod. These features are found in RE Meteor 350 bikes. Royal Enfield’s tipper navigation system shows turn-by-turn navigation when connected to a smartphone via the Royal Enfield app.

New Features of 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350

Many new changes will be seen in the style and look of the new bike. The bike’s updated features include a circular LED light and turn indicators, new single-piece grab rail (located at a slightly higher height) and a new split seat for a more comfortable ride. The exhaust system of the engine case and chrome finishing can be seen on other parts of the bike. 

Design of 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350

The design elements in the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350,circular headlamps with chrome bezels, circular rear view mirrors, fuel tank with teardrop shape and broad rear fenders, closely resemble the classic 350 bikes of the current generation. The exhaust system of the bike has a catalytic converter inside the silencer bend pipe, which replaces the earlier auxiliary catalytic converter chamber.

The new engine and platform

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be built on a single downtown chassis instead of the new J platform and a double-cradle chassis. For power, the bike uses a new 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It also has a new 5-speed gearbox.

The same engine has also been used in the more powerful RE Meteor 350 model. In which this engine generates power of 20.2 bhp and torque of 27 Nm. Compared to the current generation model, this engine will produce 1 bhp more power and 1 Nm less torque.

Launching and pricing

The company has not yet revealed the launch date of the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 bike. But according to the report, it will be launched in India in the coming weeks. Compared to the current generation, the new RE Classic 350 will be slightly more expensive. The ex-showroom price of the current model of the Classic 350 bike has been kept in the range of 1.67 lakh rupees. It is expected that the ex-showroom price of the new Classic will start from Rs 1.72 lakh.
