1. Elvis Presley
Three tablespoons of water that was touched by the King of Rock and Roll- Elvis Presley, was put up for auction. This went for a sale price of $455 along with Elvis’s hair that was auctioned off at $115,000.

2. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (Brangelina)
Hollywood ex-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had exhaled into a jar that was auctioned off. This jar was actually sold at a rate of $530.

3. Britney Spears
A spat out chewing gum of Britney Spears was auctioned on ebay for a whooping price of $14000. However there is no any valid document that states that this chewing gum was used by Britney Spears, but the seller claims it was his personal procurement.

4. Charlie Chaplin
An unseen movie of Charlie Chaplin was stored in a container which was bought by an antique dealer from Essex for 3.3 pounds. This movie named Zepped by Charlie Chaplin went on for a valuation rate of 40000 pounds.

5. Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe’s Pill bottles and X-rays were auctioned off for $18750 and the X-rays were sold at an exorbitant price of $45000.

6. Bryan Adams
After a performance in Wales in 2004, Canadian singer Bryan Adams took a taxi and changed his Armani socks during the ride and apparently left it in the cab. The driver handed over the socks to the cab company and the dirty socks were auctioned off at $750.

7. James Blunt
This is one of the weirdest auction items in history where a human being was auctioned on eBay. James Blunt, the famous English singer and songwriter auctioned off his own sister as she got stranded in England, and she was on her way to Ireland. He titled the auction as “damsel in distress”. Incidentally she went up and married the guy who bid for her, three years after this auction stunt.

8. Shammi Kapoor
One of the greatest actors Shammi Kapoor’s jacket he wore for his all time famous movie Junglee, was auctioned for Rs 88000 and this was purchased by one of his greatest fans Amir Khan.

9. Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri’s performance in the iconic movie Devdas is definitely unforgettable and mesmerising. The green lehenga she wore for the song ‘Maar Dala’ was kept for auction and it was purchased for an amazing price of 3 crore rupees.

10. Justin Bieber
This was one of the most controversial auction stunts where teen singer Justin Bieber auctioned his baby Boa Constrictor for the cause of charity. This attracted a lot of media attention and Bieber was criticised for his act.

11. Scarlett Johansson
How about spending your money to purchase someone’s mucus? Strangely, Scarlett Johansson’s mucus filled tissue was auctioned for the USA Harvest Hunger Charity and it fetched $5300 on eBay. Apparently this tissue was what she used to blow her nose on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.

12. Justin Timberlake
This probably can be described as an ‘Edible Auction’ where a half eaten French toast of Justin Timberlake was auctioned on eBay for $1025. A fan from Madison who purchased this weird celebrity item froze it, sealed it and put it on the dresser. Amazingly weird!

13. Russell Crowe
The leather jockstrap worn by Russell Crowe in the movie “Cinderella Man” was sold at a huge price of $6500 and his breastplate in Gladiator was auctioned for a winning bid of $117000.

14. Ronald Reagan
U.S President Ronald Reagan was assassinated by John Hinckley Jr outside the Washington Hilton Hotel after which his blood was taken at the hospital. His blood residue in a vial was first auctioned off for $3550 and further it was re-auctioned for $30,000. Since the blood started stinking, the auction deal was withdrawn and the vial was donated to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.

15. John Lennon
The famous singer John Lennon of the Beatles band gave one of his molars to his housekeeper Dorothy as her daughter was his huge fan. Incidentally, after 40 years this molar of John Lennon was put up for auction and sold for $31200 to Canadian dentist Michael Zuk.

16. William Shatner
William Shatner faced a kidney stone problem during the shooting of Boston Legal. After the surgery he held onto the stone for some time and later he auctioned for $25000 to raise money for a housing charity Habitat for Humanity.
